Health Requirements

Pre-Entry Health Testing

All bulls that enter KABSU to stay are required to complete Pre-Entry Health Testing. This testing includes:

• Tuberculosis: caudal fold test
• Brucellosis: BAPA or Card
• Leptospirosis: MAT5
• Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus (BVDV): PCR
• Trichomoniasis: PCR

***If these tests are not complete upon arrival, KABSU will perform the testing through the KSU Diagnostic Lab***

If owners wish to have their bull tested for CSS or Export testing, please notify KABSU staff prior to arrival on site.
