National 4-H Livestock Contests
The following contests are recognized as the national 4-H contest for livestock judging, meat judging, quiz bowl, and skillathon. Kansas 4-H representatives will be selected through each respective state contest in August. Coaches and County Agents of the top teams will receive entry information for the contest in which their 4-H team qualified and must follow appropriate entry procedures outlined by the official national contest, as well as be approved by the state 4-H office.
National 4-H Livestock Judging Contest
North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) - Louisville, KY
Entry Deadline: October 1
*Kansas All-Star team will be selected from finalists determined by performance at the state contest; winning county/unit team will have the opportunity to select another national contest to attend as a team (Denver, American Royal, Aksarben, etc.).
