Livestock Judging Team

The K-State Livestock Judging Program has a long-standing tradition of excellence and attracts students from across the United States. Established in 1903, the program boasts an impressive history, securing thirteen national championships, including a record-setting streak of five consecutive wins from 1994 to 1998, and the most recent national championship in 2020.

Students interested in livestock judging should enroll in ASI 390, Principles of Livestock Selection, during the fall semester of their junior year. Upon completing the course, students become eligible to compete on the esteemed Livestock Judging Team.
