KABSU Services

 

***All bulls collected must have proper identification (i.e. registration number) upon arrival or before KABSU staff arrives on farm. If bull is not registered, owner must provide a name or number to identify the animal.***

Semen Collection

• Housed Collection

  • 

    The bull will stay on-site for the duration of his collection period
  • He must undergo Pre-Entry Health Testing prior to arrival at KABSU
  • CSS and Export Collections available
    • Please notify staff on arrival if you wish to have either of these done

• Haul-In Collection
  • Owner brings bull in for collection and takes home the same day
  • Does not require any health testing

• On-Farm Collection
  • KABSU staff travels to the producers location to collect
  • Does not require any health testing

Breeding Soundness Exams (BSE)

• These exams can be done at KABSU or on-farm

Health Certificates (CVI)

• Dr. Taul can complete testing needed and write Health Certificates for interstate travel, sales, etc.
