4-H Livestock Sweepstakes

 

The 2024 Kansas 4-H Livestock Sweepstakes will be hosted on the K-State campus in Manhattan August 17-18.

Entry Deadline - August 1

 

All Kansas 4-H'ers are invited to participate in this livestock learning and competition experience. The Kansas 4-H Livestock Sweepstakes includes the state 4-H livestock judging contest, meat judging contest, livestock skillathon, and livestock quiz bowl in one action-packed weekend. 4-H'ers can test their knowledge and display their expertise in a variety of livestock-related events. This is also the qualifying event to select youth who will represent Kansas at each of the national 4-H contests. Awards will be given in each contest, in addition to overall Sweepstakes buckles to the team and individual placing the highest in all four contests!

All entries must be submitted online through local extension units by August 1. Contact local extension offices for entry information and/or details on local-level qualifying opportunities.
