Animal Sciences & Industry Minor
A minor in Animal Science can be a great way for students to broaden their career options beyond their major. This minor offers flexibility, allowing students to choose courses that provide a general overview of animal sciences or focus on a specific aspect, such as a particular species or discipline.
To complete the minor, students must earn at least 15 credit hours with the ASI designation. The specific courses for the minor will be determined by the minor coordinator in the Department of Animal Sciences and Industry. Up to 6 non-KSU transfer credits can count towards the minor.
Required courses:
ASI 102: 3 credits
ASI 200 level and above: 5 credits
ASI 400 level and above: 5 credits
ASI electives (100-777 level): 0-2 credit
Total credits needed for ASI minor: 15 credits
